Heavy Storms with Strong Winds May Knock Out Power Again

Another day of heavy thunderstorms as the storm in the Midwest gradually moves east. That same storm produce numerous reports of wind damage and knocked out power to thousands of people across the Southeast. While not as widespread as yesterday, the storms will still be packing a punch with wind gusts over 50 mph.

The focus of the storms will be across the Mid-Mississippi Valley around the upper level low. That area will see waves of thunderstorms with strong winds. Other storms will be over the Carolina’s that got hit hard yesterday.
