The tropics are starting to get a little more active today as we have two systems to watch for development.
The first system is in he eastern Atlantic following the upper level low that is currently moving into the Southeast coast. That system has a good chance to develop into a storm before turning and heading out to sea. High pressure coming down later this week following a cold front will help to add spin into the system but the cold front will actually push the system out to sea, away from the East Coast. Atlantic Canada could be impacted by the system next week.
The second system is way out in the tropical Atlantic and fairly far south. That system will track west for the next several days and stay on he week side, crossing the Islands this weekend and perhaps impacting Puerto Rico with an increase in thunderstorms early next week.
