It’s fall and that means the change of seasons has started and the first snows will begin to show-up across the northern tier states. While some snow has fallen across the high country of the Rockies recently and also across parts of western Canada, the change int he pattern means accumulating snows for parts of the northern Plains and Rockies.
Snow is falling across parts of WyomingĀ and western South Dakota this morning but more snow is on the way for next week and as the remains of Rosa move through, enough cold air may follow to produce a swath of snow across the northern Rockies and northern Plains. As you can see of the GFS snow map, 1-4 inches of snow is possible next week.
The WeatherMadness winter weather center will be open for business Monday October 1.
