The weather pattern is really uneventful through the weekend. Despite a storm developing in the eastern part of the country, snow will be light in many areas. That storm that will impact the east will be mainly rain as temperatures finally warm-up.
A light snow event will move across the Great Lakes into the Appalachians today through Thursday night. Accumulations will be light with a coating to 2 inches in most areas.
The western Mountains will see the big snows through the Weekend. A series of storms will move through and produce heavy mountain snows. Skiers will be happy for the holidays as ski conditions will be great!
