A tropical disturbance in the Bahama’s will most likely be upgraded to a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.
The system as you can see is showing signs of rotation which means NHC is getting ready to upgrade the system to a Tropical Depression. The intensity guidance shows the system could become a tropical storm within a few days if it continues to develop.
One thing to notice, another system in the eastern Gulf of Mexico will cause the system in 
the Bahama’s to move more to the Northwest as shown by the model track forecasts below. You can see that system on the satellite image to the right.
I think we are dealing with a weak system that will eventually impact Florida with heavy rains.
