Snowstorm Potential Dec 17th Storm!

The models seem to be in consensus that is a storm is coming next week. At least two are in agreement on the track of the storm while the GFS seems to be the outlyer with a track west of the Appalachians. The GEMS and ECMWF take the storm East with a swath of moderate snows from the plains to the Mid-Atlantic. I like the ECMWF model with a storm coming east with a swath of 1-8 inches of snow and ice on the southern edge of the snow.

You can see the GFS model with the track going west of the Appalachians.

The GEM model agrees with the ECMWF model in regards to the track and snow swath.
