Check out the NAO index below. Notice the negative values back in November and notice the map above. When the values went negative we had a coastal storm with inland snows in late November. This is why I think the models are wrong and will eventually catch on to the coastal development this weekend. Just not sure yet of snow distribution with the storm, but I can see someone inland getting a lot of snow.
