Until I see some kind of evidence that there will be blocking in February and that storms won’t continue to follow up the Appalachian chain as they have all winter, I just don’t see any chances for snowfall in the Mid-Atlantic. Or at least in my parts east of the mountains. The 0600 run of the GFS looked pretty dismal for snow over the next several weeks. So, I think your snow/rain line for February should be moved farther north, Henry. I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t have much confidence in getting out my snow shovel this year. Total bust.
