They may be cutters but that hasn’t stopped northern New England from getting snow as of late. The cutter low almost always occludes and weakens with it’s triple-point cutting under us and forming a new low in the Gulf of Maine holding the cold air in place, except for the immediate coast and just inland a few miles.
