The cold front will be moving into the Ohio Valley and eastern Great Lakes this afternoon and evening. Severe storms with mainly damaging winds and hail will occur ahead of the cold front this afternoon this afternoon and evening. The right rear quadrant of the 250mb jet will be right over the threat area this afternoon and with 120 kt winds aloft, that will help to enhance thunderstorm development. Damaging winds and hail will be the primary threat.
