Update: Tuesday morning, I made a few changes to the map. Thinking is that a zone of snow will set up across NE PA into northern NJ and may even get into NYC. You can see on the 500 mb chart for Wednesday morning that an area of diffluence or winds spreading apart at the jet stream level will lead to intense upward motion and an area of snow across NE PA into Northern NJ.

A clipper will dive southeast across the Northeast Wednesday. This will be a light snow event on Winter Storm Scale of 1 with cat 2 type snows over the higher elevations. The map above shows the area impacted by the snow. Milder weather coming will melt all the snow away the end of the week.
