This will be the last update to the snow map as I will be going into storm model this afternoon with live blogs to keep updated on what is going on. This morning, all the models seem to be in agreement that a widespread heavy snow event will occur across the Midwest, Ohio Valley, Mid-Atlantic into the Northeast. The storm has moved into the Plains and snow will break out across Illinois and Indiana this evening. Low pressure moves into the Ohio Valley Sunday then transfers over to the coast Monday. As I thought, the storm hugs the Jersey coast so the heaviest snows are just inland. A lot of places will see front end snow going back to snow after a mix occurs. The Northeast gets hit Monday night into Tuesday. All the major cities from Chicago to DC to Portland will all see significant snows.
