Clipper Type Snows Prior to Next Weeks Fun

Over the next several days, a series of week clippers will cascade southeast across the Great Lakes, eastern Canada and the Northeast. The stronger of the systems will cross through eastern Canada into the Northeast Wednesday night and Thursday. It’s not out of the question that some snow is able to get into New England and northern New Jersey/PA early Thursday. Most areas will see a coating to an inch of snow, but the Thursday Clipper may bring 1-3 inches of snow.

The snows are part of the bigger picture was the weather pattern goes to a west to east winter storm pattern with at least two events coming next week and more events beyond that. On WeatherMadness Pro, I am discussing the long range and the prospects for additional winter storms coming in February.
