The snow will spread across the Northeast and last into Thursday. The snow may even linger across eastern New England where a coastal trough develops Thursday morning. For most areas, this will be a 1-4 inch snowstorm with locally 6 inches across central New York. The ice across Pennsylvania will end as temperatures warm some and the freezing rain moves away tonight. In the wake, a little freezing drizzle will occur. More snow is will occur Sunday as yet another storm hits the Northeast.
