A major outbreak of severe weather will begin today in west Texas and expand east Saturday to Monday. As the upper level low starts to come out supercell storms will develop across the Texas Panhandle today with more supercell storms developing across western Texas Saturday. Once the line of storms develops, we will see that line race across Texas and Oklahoma Sunday and into the Mississippi Valley Monday. The storms will go from a tornado threat to a wind damage and hail threat. As mentioned before, the severe weather may occur into eastern Colorado, within 50 miles of the major snowstorm.
