A blast of very cold air will hit the Northern Plains Sunday night and into the Midwest and Great Lakes Monday and Tuesday. Eventually the cold will move into the Northeast after Wednesday of next week. Snow will come down the Front Range of the Rockies Sunday night into Monday. That area of snow will be 1-6 inches depending on elevation and location. Snow will develop in the central Plains Tuesday and move into the Great Lakes late Tuesday and Tuesday night. Snow will also hit Ontario Wednesday. We could see heavy snow of 3-6 inches from the Great Lakes into Ontario Tuesday into Wednesday. The cold will bring the chance of frost and freezes behind the snow next week. Expect temperatures some 10-20 degrees below normal.
