Daily Madness: Severe Weather Starts the Week

Happy Weather Monday!
The big story will be the severe weather today and tomorrow. We saw several tornadoes across Mississippi that did damage yesterday. With a large enhanced area of severe weather along the Ohio River, we will probably see more tornado activity today. Rotation tracks from the HRRR model also show strong rotation moving across Northern Texas today. Could be large hail swaths and/or tornadoes sweeping across northern Texas. I will be doing an update to the severe weather maps this morning.
Severe weather tomorrow could be very active even into the Mid-Atlantic so I will be looking at that very closely.
The coastal storm that develops later this week could start with severe weather across the Southeast Thursday before moving up the coast and intensifying. Gales and heavy rains will impact coastal New England and Maine Friday.
