Severe weather will be less today as the pattern becomes more summer-like across much of the East. We will see some severe storms across the northern High Plains tomorrow.
Snow will break out across the Northern Rockies and Montana late today and tomorrow. Some areas will see over 6 inches of snow per my post from yesterday.
Tropics may get active in the Atlantic as a subtropical storm develops. Bermuda is the only landmass that will be impacted by the storm. NHC is watching that area closely.
A cold front will come through the Great Lakes and Northeast this weekend and will go all the way down to the Carolina’s early next week. Easterly flow behind the front will cause low clouds and drizzle for a day or so in the Mid-Atlantic early next week.
The Plains will get active with severe weather and rain again next week as the warm pattern holds on.
