The cold front that will come through the East the next 48 hours will stall along the Southeast coast by Thursday. Low pressure will develop along the old front and may have tropical characteristics. That low pressure center will move north along the coast and may hit New England with gusty winds and rain on Friday. I think most of the weather impacts from the system will remain off the Mid-Atlantic coast Thursday and Thursday night. There is the chance the system becomes a subtropical storm or tropical depression depending on what NHC wants to do.

  1. Hope the model is correct though, also hope that the rain shield pushes further inland so all of New England can get a soaking rain.
