Severe Storms May Produce Hail and Strong Winds

For today and Tuesday, we have a couple of areas of severe weather from the Plains to the Northeast. In each of the areas shown on the map, the storms will produce strong winds and hail. The High Plains could see a few supercells with tornadoes today.

In the Northeast, a line of storms will develop and sink south during the afternoon and evening impacting the big cities in the I-95 corridor.

The Northern Great Lakes will see storms today and perhaps even more numerous storms Tuesday. This is all part of a front that will be stalled across the Great Lakes into the Northeast.
