As the upper level low moves into the central part of the country, another round of severe storms will hit the mid-Mississippi Valley into the southern Plains today. Wind damage will be the primary impacts but a few tornadoes could occur as well as large damaging hail.
The upper level low will nudge east Sunday and that means severe storms will develop from Ohio into parts of Arkansas and Louisiana. The bulk of the storms will be from Kentucky to Arkansas. The impacts will be damaging winds and large hail. A brief tornado may occur too.
