I am still expecting an outbreak of severe weather to occur across the Plains into the Midwest today into Sunday. Severe storms are expected to develop late this afternoon and continue into tonight. The storms may weaken some overnight but will reform Sunday across the Midwest. While most of the impacts will be wind damage and hail, a tornado threat will exist today across parts of Nebraska and Kansas. Below are the simulated radar maps for the storms.
