Bands of severe storms are predicted to develop across the Great Lakes into the Ohio Valley Tuesday afternoon and evening. I expect the storms will produce strong winds with gusts over 60 mph in places. Given that the storms will form into squall lines, I think the tornado threat will be low with this outbreak. The outbreak is part of a multi-day outbreak that will last into Thursday. We will see severe storms developing along the cold front Wednesday and Thursday. Especially on Thursday, severe storms will develop from Maine to the central Appalachians of Pennsylvania.
