A storm will hit the Pacific Northwest Thursday and spread snow into the Mountains Friday into Saturday. The initial impacts will be heavy rains across western Washington that will impact Seattle to Vancouver. That area could see up to 5 inches of rain and the potential for flooding, especially in areas up against the Cascades.

The Cascades into the Canadian Rockies will see heavy snows with over a foot in places and poor travel. If you are travelling of Snoqualmie Pass along I-90 check ahead of time for travel conditions.

That area of snow will spread across the Northern Rockies and into Montana into southern Saskatchewan Saturday. That area will see 2-6 inches of snow with poor travel conditions.
