A major storm coming out of the southern Plains will produce a band of severe storms that will develop in Arkansas and eastern Texas early today then spread east-northeast this afternoon and tonight. The tornado potential will be across western Tennessee into Mississippi but really any location from Kentucky to the South could see a tornado. Wind damage and hail will be the other impacts with probably over 100 reports of wind damage and about a dozen tornadoes. The line of severe storms will continue into the Southeast and the Carolina’s with wind damage overnight.
