The storm that will develop in the Midwest today will move across the Great Lakes into the eastern Canada. That storm will spread a swath of snow and ice across the Midwest through the Great Lakes into eastern Canada and parts of the Northeast. The ice will be less then 0.25″ so only road issues will occur. The snow will be heavy with over 4 inches which will cause travel issues. Snow will also fall along the Front Range of the Rockies but that snow is part of the next storm coming through the Southwest.
