This week will be active across the Great Lakes and Northeast with clippers moving through. At least 3 of them will move through with light snow and snow showers. A skinny band of snow may develop across the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic. Models seem to be in agreement on the snow swath but thinking it will change overtime.

The Pacific Northwest will get active with a series of storms moving through. Heavy rains could cause flooding across western Washington and Oregon and in the western mountains, expect heavy snow at times this week. Eventually, a storm will come out of the West into the Plains and produce a swath heavy snow and blowing snow across the Northern Plains. That storm will also lead to potential severe weather in the Tennessee Valley next weekend.
