A band of strong storms will develop across Central Pennsylvania early today and move east-northeast into New York and New Jersey. That storms will produce strong winds and hail as the primary impacts but a brief tornado can not be ruled out given the shear in the atmosphere. The HRRR rotation tracks does show some strong rotation with some of the storms this afternoon but that might mean large hail as the impact and nor a tornado. The storms are in response to the storm moving through the eastern Great Lakes.
