This will be another busy week as a new storm comes out of the Southwest and moves into the Plains. That storm will first bring heavy rains and heavy mountain snows to Southern California and the Southwest early this week. The rain could be heavy enough to cause some flooding problems.

One the storms moves into the Plains, severe storms will develop Tuesday and that area of severe storms will move east through the Tennessee Valley and South Wednesday, ending in the Mid-Atlantic Thursday. This will be another week with storms that can produce damaging winds, hail and tornadoes.

Snow will develop across the Upper Midwest and Northern Great Lakes by Mid-Week. That area could see over 4 inches of snow. An area of wintry mix will develop across the Great Lakes into the Appalachians and Northeast. Ice may accumulate Tuesday night and travel could be impacted.
