The cold front associated with the massive blizzard will trigger another round of tornadoes and damaging winds with the thunderstorms that form along the Mississippi Valley. This will be a multistate event with warnings covering many counties. I expect to see numerous reports of wind damage and about 25-50 reports of tornadoes. People living in these areas should have a game plan in case a tornado hits your area. Yesterday, despite all the warnings for one particular tornado, 23 people were injured when the tornado moved through the town of Salado, TX. Lets hope that does not happen today.

Thursday, the leftovers of the severe storms will move East and produce gusty storms across the East.
