Low pressure running along the front will produce severe storms across Virginia into the Chesapeake Bay area this afternoon and evening. The storms that develop will produce damaging wind gusts and large hail. Hail produces show hail size over 1 inch across the Chesapeake Bay. In additional, supercell storms could produce a quick hitting tornado but the main impacts will be the wind and hail.
