A storm moving out of the Rockies will produce a swath of light to moderate snows from the Plains into the Midwest and lower Great Lakes. The snow will accumulate in general 1-4 inches but local amounts of 6 inches may occur from Nebraska into Wisconsin. Expect snow covered roads tonight and wet to slushy roads Friday. The snow should dwindle moving into Pennsylvania.
