A Spring Snowstorm is Possible for the Midwest

A storm coming out of the Rockies will bring the potential for snow this weekend. That storm will also bring a shot of chilly weather into the East next week. The map I am showing is based on the GFS model which has been very consistent with the storm while the Euro and Canadian show snow but have not been very consistent with the storm. The storm will start as rain then change to a heavy wet snow with snow ratios of 6:1 to 8:1. That heavy snow if it occurs could cause power outages. I expect the map will be updated the next couple of days.
