My yard is greening up fast and will need mowed in the next 4-5 days. I want it looking nice and pretty to receive all the snow we will be getting in the next two weeks.

Another windy day is in store for the Las Vegas Valley and much of the Southwest today. Yesterday there were gusts upwards of 45 mph. Last night we did get some showers before more wind whipped in behind them. Winds did decouple some overnight, but have picked up again, though not as strong as yesterday.

Just under 3 inches of rain overnight here 8 miles inland from Atlantic City. There was some thunder and lightening but it was more likely the instability collapsed as the system moved into more stable air influenced by the still cold 42 degree ocean.

My power was out for 7 hrs yesterday. there are still 37,000 customers out in PA. 35 degrees currently with rain showers
Got ours back around 4-4:30. There is a lot of tree damage isolated outages that will be out for awhile.

So am I. The whole area is out over 1,000 people. But its like that all over the place. Penelec has no ETR because I don’t think they know. The generator is running but when it runs out of gas its bed time. Then repeat tomorrow. I think our issue came from Tyrone, Bellwood or Pinecroft area. No problem with the ground being dry here. Our area is saturated. Golf courses are still closed because its so wet. Saw water still laying in some fields.
