The ice across Texas has already caused big problems with a massive car pile-up around Dallas. We are seeing thunderstorms across south and east Texas that is enhancing ice across that that area. Below is the NAM ice amounts to show you where the ice will occur. I do think the ice in Texas will wind down tonight.

From Kentucky to Virginia, more ice and snow will continue to today into Friday with a band of light to moderate snow across Virginia later tonight into Friday. Most areas will see 1-3 inches of snow. Ice will also occur and will sneak into North Carolina as the cold air filters south.
