Tioga County NY, smoke smell is somewhat less than yesterday but just now seemed to be getting a bit stronger again. I’ve been in upstate NY most of my life but never seen anything like this. I had to drop the storm windows yesterday to minimize inflow.

Thundersleet here west of Binghamton a little while ago. Pretty impressive amount of lightning/thunder for February and some of the sleet pieces were large.

Tioga County NY, elev 840′ in the valley here, second sleet/hail shower so far today. Definitely ice not graupel and coming down at a good rate. Warm weather can’t get here fast enough.

We got your fresh cold air for the storm; double digits below zero all around upstate NY this morning. It was around 14 below here about an hour ago, west of Binghamton.
Starting to get bad in NNJ.
