You couldn’t ask for better eclipse-viewing weather here in Maine. I was about 20 miles (ca. 32 kilometres) south of totality and could clearly see the black shadow of totality racing by just to my north. It did get dark enough so that I was able to see a few celestial lights in the sky, and the temperature also dropped -5 °F.
My house the clouds kept covering it. I just saw the last quarter. Pretty neat
Some of the more impressive snow amounts in the mountains of New Hampshire. All highlighted reports are from White Mountain trail huts above, 3000ft (914.4 m)
Light snow continues here in western Maine, as it has all day. The total now stands at 18.0in.
Western Maine: Had about 16in thus far. The snow is rather light at the moment. Temperature 28F.

The latest NWS discussion is indicating total snow accumulation of 20-30in now possible over higher terrain of Maine and New Hampshire, as guidance on storm profile is trending colder.
Light snow (flurries really) just beginning. According to the radar, snow is coming at us from the east and southwest. The Temp is 35F, so no accumulation on roads expected until tonight.

Then again, these stacked systems can be tricky to figure out, especially this time of year. Most local forecasts for the area are in the 1-2ft range, which makes you a member of the club,…Read More
Would you take a video for us during the heart of the storm???
You bet. Hopefully, some heavy snow falls during daylight, so I can get a good shot of it.
For Interior Maine: WSW has been issued. Local media Mets calling for 1-2ft with the final amounts based on elevation, which makes perfect sense this time of year especially.
Video today? Or did I miss the announcement that this was an off day?
