Its crazy warm in Minnesota. Headed up to a high of 52 degrees. That’s 27 degrees above average. Just ridiculous. We should be in the low to mid 20s and not see 50’s until April. Yeah, I keep saying it. Henry, your forecast for the Upper Midwest was a complete BUST!!! This is three years in a row. Hopefully you can get closer next year!

I find it funny how Henry warns people about wind chills for the NE and Mid Atlantic for – 20. He never said a thing when the Upper Midwest was at -50.

Will it ever snow again in Minnesota? We have had more rain than snow. I want your forecast to come true

Still waiting on the colder and snowier than average forecast to come true for the Upper Midwest. Currently 33 degrees at Eden Prairie, MN which is 10 degrees above average highs and its only morning. This is the second thaw of the season and its only the first week in January.

Year after year I get excited with an active and early winter season for the upper midwest. Year after year I am disappointed. We are so behind average dispite a winter forecast calling for above average snow starting around Halloween.

Eden Prairie, MN. 23 degrees with a fresh 5 inches of snow yesterday.

Eden Prairie, MN: Heavy snow and 27 degrees. Beautiful. We were in an advisory with the warning north of us as they expected rain/sleet to hit. Not too surprising that they blew this forecast. Storm shifted south a bit allowing us to have snow and not the messy sleet.

Frustrating to see another promised storm skirt north just enough to provide us with sleet instead of heavy snow. Central strip of Minnesota keeps getting ripped off. It’s sad that Iowa has more snow than Minneapolis

I have a feeling this winter will be a copy of the past 3 years here in Minnesota. Warm and dry fall. All projections look snowy, only to find out they dont turn out. Every single snow forecast that was made for the month of November never materialize

A week ago we were in the upper 80s and getting sun burned. This past weekend we had highs in the upper 40s and bundled up.

In typical fashion, an over hyped forecast for Minneapolis. Nothing around the cities. A strong but not severe line crosses southern Minnesota. Frustrating that these forecasts can be so off

I’m not too surprised considering our winter so far. Snow forecast yesterday morning was 10 inches, currently tomorrow’s storm is down to 4 inches with a 19:1 ratio.

It’s 0 degrees (-17 windchill) near Minneapolis. Snow tomorrow? Maybe an inch or two?

Well. It appears that any potential for Minneapolis getting close to average is long gone. Friday the models showed promise… today not so much.
Maybe the city will provide refunds to the residents since they don’t need salt this year

On the video you stated we could receive half pur season average in February. Here in Minneapolis we average near 60 inches and I don’t see any storm based on the models, dropping more than 2 inches at one time. Each storm appears to be a weak wave and nothing wound up. What a season. We were hoping for some snow in Minneapolis and unfortunately we have been in a snow hole for the storm. Nothing more than a few flurries. Huge snow drought continues… just like last year

A little north of Minneapolis. This is air temps and does not factor windchill which is -50. I know all the focus is in the east but it’s cold up north.

One thing I don’t get is that since we are in a neutral patern, why can’t we get any significant snow in the upper midwest. I don’t buy the term that it’s too cold to snow. It’s Minnesota and it’s normal for it’s to be below 0 high for a week (-20 mornings) and still have normal 40 inches of snow by mid January. This cold that is typical.
