<title>I think we have to be careful looking at things 30 days out and trying to extrapolate models and charts to fit what we want to see. This year was a huge bust for the east coast. Nothing you can do about that. LA NINA roared back and destroyed our hopes. Remember that EVERYONE missed it. Meteorologists can only react to the models and interpret from there. 2 things; I remember 5 or 6 yrs ago we had the same thing happen with an EL NINO where it jumped up in November unexpectantly and stuck around ruining the winter. and secondly does anybody think that the climate change is affecting the models? if they base the prediction comparing to older storms couldn&#039;t this affect their data and usefulness? I dont have any experience with that so was wondering....FLY EAGLES FLY...</title>

<title>Could this be another year where the the La Nina blows everything across the country? The values
are so high right now and if I remember last year and the one before that we spent a lot of time waiting for it to drop. Anyone have thoughts on that?</title>

<title>Storm of 93 Happy Anniversary!!!! I remember that thing like yesterday. Lived in Philadelphia at the time and I think we got 13 inches of sleet. It was amazing. Mother nature was just reminding us we have no control over her. I also recall the week before being warm and everybody thinking winter was over and spring had arrived. You really never know....</title>

<title>This may be anecdotal but it seems the NAO the last few years skews positive just at the start of meteorological winter and pretty much stays that way with small brief forays to the negative side. Is there a reason for that or is it just coincidence?</title>
