    The observation this morning. Models still have not resolved the track issue along the Mid-Atlantic coast. They still want to drive the low center into central Virginia which causes mixing to quickly occur through VA into Eastern PA. I think the issue here is the strong love level jet shown on the GFS model which will drive warm air in the mid levels into the Mid-Atlantic and thus after a thump of snow, mixing occurs quickly. For the upslope areas of the Appalachians that type of strong low level jet will result in heavy snows in the mountains with rates of 1-2 inches per hour.

    • Just one question Henry…what does the CFS know that the other models don’t? I ask because it has been consistant from a week ago showing a classic nor’easter right up the coast
