Another Snowy Day for the Front Range of Colorado

Henry Margusity, Chief Meteorologist

The snow is going to develop along the Front Range and High Plains of Colorado Monday afternoon into Tuesday. Denver and Boulder may see over 3 inches of wet snow with more snow falling in the foothills and perhaps even into the High Plains. The GFS model seems to be very aggressive on the heavy snow with well over a foot of snow in the High Plains which I think might be overdone. Overall I think this is a quick hitting snow event ends up melting as quick as it falls. Above is my snow map and below are the various operational models.
