The system in the Atlantic will probably be named Subtropical Storm Ana today or tomorrow. That storm will come west, loop around this weekend before heading out Northeast toward Europe next week.

The summer weather pattern will last through the weekend across much of the East. Cold fronts coming will put an end to the high heat next week. That cold front may bring severe storms with wind damage and hail Saturday.

Severe weather will be centered over the northern High Plains today where large hail and tornadoes may occur. Most of the severe storms will occur today and just scattered storms for tomorrow.

Snow is falling across western Montana today. More snow may occur over the weekend as yet another storm hits. Some areas will see over 6 inches of snow.

Pattern looks very stormy later next week for the Ohio Valley. We could see some nasty severe weather moving in late in the week.
