Severe Storms will Hit NYC, NJ, Philly and Parts of New England Today

Another round of the endless summer storms will hit area already hit many times this summer from southern New England to Philly, perhaps Baltimore and Washington this afternoon. More heavy rains will add to the soggy ground already in place from recent storms. The impacts of the storms will be damaging winds and hail with the chance of a tornado, but I think the strong wind gusts will be the issue. Keep in mind, the sky is already murky looking from all the smoke so lets hope the storms can clean out the smoke as well.
