Heavy to severe thunderstorms will develop in the High Plains today. Looks like northeast Colorado into Nebraska has the best chance for any tornado activity. The area of thunderstorms will move east the next two days impacting the Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys by Thursday.

Another area of potential heavy thunderstorms will develop across New York Wednesday afternoon. Hail and gusty winds may occur with the storms. Map will be posted this morning.

The warmth is on for the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic. Temperatures 70s and 80s today and tomorrow. Could hit 90 in some spots in the Mid-Atlantic.

Cold front coming through will put an end to the warmth later this week so get out and enjoy. Good news, the warmth returns later this weekend.

There are some indications that a hybrid low may develop off the Southeast coast this weekend. There is the potential for a named subtropical storm but most likely they will just keep it a strong low pressure center.
