Severe Storms, Maybe a Tornado and Large Hail Today and Tuesday

The storm coming out of the Rockies that produced the snows in Denver and Boulder may kick off severe weather across Texas and southern Oklahoma today and into Louisiana Tuesday. The HRRR shows very strong rotation tracks which may indicate large hail and or even a tornado. The dew points are currently in the 50s so we need to increase the dew points another 10 degrees for a better chance of tornadoes. For now, large hail seems to the the main impacts from the storms. More severe weather will occur Wednesday and Thursday with Thursday being the major day for tornadoes.
