Snow will Continue, Heavy at Times across the Midwest

The heavy snow will continue across the Midwest today, winding down this evening. Banding of heavy snow is already showing up on the radar across southern Minnesota into Iowa this morning. Also seeing some banding of heavy snow extended into South Dakota and northern Nebraska. The snows back in Colorado are winding down but there are still some pockets of heavy banding spinning around the back of the upper level low. As you can see on the HRRR map and NAM map. amounts can be over 4 inches in many areas. Chicago and Milwaukee will get some snow with 1-4 inches this afternoon and evening. Snow and sleet will move int the Ohio Valley this evening as well with light accumulations.
