I sure hope Henry is right since the winter overall for the nation has been far below normal for snowfall and very warm in large parts of the nation.

We got 10 inches of Sierra Cement on Sat. 8-9 hours of heavy snow with temps around freezing after a lot of rain. Some areas near us exceeded a foot. That as a big surprise to everyone. Storms like this would typically drop 15-20 inches or more. The snow is so wet it is like shoveling white water.

Big warmup coming across the nation. Henry has cold air coming for 2/3rds of the nation around Feb 14th. I think it will be much later than that. Then we are into the final two weeks of meteorological winter.

Indicies have not been the best indicators of wild winter weather evidenced by the expectations of wild winter weather starting in late Oct. then moving through Jan and Feb. one significant cold blast for a few days in January.

Let’s see if we get one or two more actual cold blasts, i.e., temps 15-20 degrees colder than average. But the average highs keep going up every day.

Here’s to at least a couple of Big Daddy storms to make Henry a happy camper.
