I live in central IL, just east of Peoria. Today the National Weather Service out of Lincoln, IL is predicting temps highs of 63* – 69* on Christmas Day. Would someone please explain how this could occur this time of year and after all this cold. I would appreciate having some understanding of this. Yesterday the wind chills were well below zero.
