Now I know that this has been a difficult winter for snow lovers in New England and the mid- Atlantic so far, but it is something we have seen before. What has been particularly frustrating is that the indices have overwhelmingly been in our favor. As I look at the upcoming weekend and a little beyond…….this is what I live for. The models show potential for snow, well maybe, when will the changeover occur? will we get over running snow or backside snow? at what elevation will it snow?, will the storms be over achievers or disappointments? , where will the 540 line settle in? I particularly like the surprise storms, which could happen within the next week. It makes my day when my forecast are correct. I’m not sure yet exactly what will happen between Friday and Wednesday, but I do like the trends and the storm tracks. If forecast was easy the models would all be the same. Yea, this is fun. ,
