Snow Impacts Rockies and Northern Plains to Southern Canada

A snowstorm will hit the Northern Plains and southern Canada today into tomorrow. That area will see up to 8 inches of snow in places with some blowing now in the open areas.

Snow will also come down the Front Range of the Rockies and will impact areas from Cheyenne to Denver with 1-4 inches of snow tonight into Saturday. This is not a major storm but one that may cause some travel problems.

Weekly Highlights for November 27 to December 3

The start of this week will be snowy across the Great Lakes into the Northeast. The current storm is producing a swath of snow across the Great Lakes and western Ohio Valley of 1-3 inches. That snow will move into Eastern Canada Monday. The storm along the coast will come north and produce a swath of 4+ inches of snow from Vermont through western Maine Monday.

More snow will hit the Great Lakes and Northeast later this week as a series of storms are expected to develop.

The Northwest and northern Rockies will see storms crossing through later this week which will lead to snows, especially over the mountains.

Severe storms may develop across the lower Mississippi Thursday. Damaging winds and hail may occur.

Watch the change to snow on radar.
